Pretty Things Jar Swap (finale)

Yay!!! We are now at the most exciting part of the Pretty Things Jar Swap - Party time!!!

If you have received your Jar from your swap partner, you can start taking picture, and post it on your blog then link it back here with the direct link. (See below). Party time is September 7th (Tuesday) 7-9 PM (EST). You have from now till September 7th to link your blog post here, as I understand that we all have other things we have to post on our personal blog, such as challenges that are meeting deadlines, DT's duties etc, so I give you a few days to pick what works best for you. 

What is going to happened on September 7th? Basically is like a blog hop, we hop from one blog to another, leave comments, chit chat etc. If you are unable to stay in front of your computer on that day, it is totally fine to visit other blogs at your convenience time, I do understand that the time differences for International blogger, and also we have other things in life we want to enjoy, such as family, kids, so don't ever feel that you NEED to be here on the exact time, the link will stay here so you are able to visit others any time you want.

Pretty Things Jar Swap (part 4)

Hey all, I hope by now all the jars should be out of your craft room and on it's way to your partner's craft room. I knew some of you have already received the jar, me too! Well, let's wait for everyone to get theirs and then we will link everyone up here with Inlinkz. Now it's time where you can take pictures of the pretty things in the jar you have received and be ready to post it on your blog and link it here. If you have not, just wait a few more days for the jar to arrived, especially if your partner is from a different country.

Hi all, it is August 6th, I hope your jar is filled with Pretty Things and ready to go out to the mailman. I know mine is!

You can send it out between Aug 6th and Aug 21st

Party date is September 7th. I will stay in touch with everyone to see how thing's going!

Pretty Things Jar Swap (part 2)

Hi all, it is getting closer to our Pretty Things Jar Swap Party!

By now, you should have gotten an email from me with the mailing info of your swap partner and their blog address, do visit each other's blog to say hello!

Many of you is concern about sending a glass jar in the mail, you could do plastic jar, or even send the pretty things in a padded envelope, it really doesn't matter, as I said before, the fun part is the surprises in the mail, so if the glass jar is not workable for you, a box, an envelope is fine! (**You might want to let your partner know if you are not sending the Pretty Things in a jar, so there is no oopsy moment)

Ok, what you waiting for, start filling up your jar (box, envelope) with pretty things that you think your partner would like, and get it ready to send out between August 6th - 21st

Pretty Things Jar Swap

Hey to you all, City Crafter Challenge Blog followers and regulars, we now have a place to get together and have some fun! Here at City Crafter Party Blog, is a place for Blog Hop, and do a little swap, you know, just the fun stuff!

We are going to kick off our Party Place with a little swap, here's the details.....

Pretty Things Jar Swap

This swap is open to all active bloggers, you don't have to be a follower of City Crafter to have fun with us

Here is what you have to do, filled up a jar (any size, any kind) with lovely little things a crafter would like,  e.g. buttons, charms, do-dads, embellies, ribbons, threads etc, and exchange with another blogger (who wouldn't like receiving a surprise in the mail?)

Step 1: Sign up

Send me an email (see info at the end of this blog post), and I will count you in for this Jar Swap, this will open from Tuesday July 27 (12 AM EST) to Monday August 2nd (11:59 PM EST), you have ONE week to just send an email if you want to participate.

Step 2: Filled up your jar with pretty things

You will be paired up with a swap partner and I will send you an email to confirm your participation and also the information (email address) of your partner by August 5th.

**Edit: I personally love glass jar because I think it is beautiful, but I do understand the cost of postage, if you want to do plastic jar, plastic container, or even a box, that is perfectly fine, the fun part is to received something in the mail, especially Pretty Things right?

Step 3: Send out the Jar 

You can start sending out your jar from August 6th to August 21st. That will give you 2 weeks to get your package out to your partner in time for the party.

Now we waited, and waited and waited..... for our Jar filled with pretty things to arrive.

Let's do 2 weeks (at least), that should be safe.

**Note - Just in case you are paired up with a International Partner, please do send your jar as early as possible, I do not want to see anyone miss out the fun at the party. I think it is fun to have overseas friend, who knows, you might visit them someday.

Step 4: Post your Jar on your blog

This should be done as close to the party time as possible, but there is no restriction, I just want to make sure your posting for the Blog Party is easy to locate. I will have Inlinkz here on this blog, you could link up so everyone could visit you and see what you got in your jar from your swap partner. Inlinkz will be open for you to link your blog post from September 2nd to 8th (I know its labor day weekend, so I give you plenty of time here)

Step 5: The most exciting part - Blog Party

September 7th (Tuesday) 9 PM - 11 PM (EST)

(There is not restriction, you can still visit other blogger whenever you are here.
