I received my Happy Mail today, full of pretty lace and doilies, I wonder if you have yours yet?

Remember, last day to send out your package to you partner is Oct 4th, if you haven't yet, please do so.

If you already received your pretty laces and doilies, take pictures and be ready to post them, Inlinkz will open on Oct 5th, 2010. And it will stay until everyone link up their post here, so it is very flexible, you can come here anytime and have fun hopping from one blog to another.

Lace and Doily Swap ~ getting ready

Hey all, now that you have registered, the fun part begins - start preparing the lace and doily for your partner (you should get an email from me by end of today), and then send it out. You have 2 weeks to do that, the last day to send out your package is Oct  4, 2010, of course the earlier the better. We have a lot of International swapper/crafter this time, so please allow a lot of time for shipping.

This time I am going to check with everybody via email, once everyone received their packages, we will set a date for the party, how's that?

So once again, the only date to remember now is Oct 4, that's the last day to get your package out! You can do it earlier if you want, remember, the earlier everyone gets their package, the earlier we can party!

Hi all, first of all, I would like to say THANK YOU to all who took part in our Pretty Things Jar Swap. I am glad and happy to know that you all had fun. Although we have a little hiccups, but I think overall, everyone had fun receiving pretty things in the mail as well as sending it out to your swap partner. While we waiting for Victoria's jar to arrive and link it up here, I am going to start the ball rolling for our next swap, how about
Lace and Doily Swap!

(in case you ask, doily can be paper doily, doily stamp, crocheted doily, anything that you think it is a doily and I don't have to explain what is lace right, LOL!)

Lace and Doily Swap

This swap is open to all active blogger who loves receiving pretty things in the mail and love to make friends and have fun, you don't have to be a follower of City Crafter to join us.

No jar this time, so everyone could put your lace and doily in a small envelope, I would like to highlight this, it seems to me that we all felt the same way(including myself), after receiving the jar from our partner, we wished that we could do more than what we already sent out, because we can't believe how much we had received. This swap is just for fun because I believe we all love receiving pretty things in the mail, so please do what we can, I do not want to limit the amount, so even you send only one doily and a yard of lace to your partner and received plenty, it is fine! Remember, this is just for fun, so no one should feel bad about not giving enough, or received too little, ok?

Yay!!! We are now at the most exciting part of the Pretty Things Jar Swap - Party time!!!

If you have received your Jar from your swap partner, you can start taking picture, and post it on your blog then link it back here with the direct link. (See below). Party time is September 7th (Tuesday) 7-9 PM (EST). You have from now till September 7th to link your blog post here, as I understand that we all have other things we have to post on our personal blog, such as challenges that are meeting deadlines, DT's duties etc, so I give you a few days to pick what works best for you. 

What is going to happened on September 7th? Basically is like a blog hop, we hop from one blog to another, leave comments, chit chat etc. If you are unable to stay in front of your computer on that day, it is totally fine to visit other blogs at your convenience time, I do understand that the time differences for International blogger, and also we have other things in life we want to enjoy, such as family, kids, so don't ever feel that you NEED to be here on the exact time, the link will stay here so you are able to visit others any time you want.

Hey all, I hope by now all the jars should be out of your craft room and on it's way to your partner's craft room. I knew some of you have already received the jar, me too! Well, let's wait for everyone to get theirs and then we will link everyone up here with Inlinkz. Now it's time where you can take pictures of the pretty things in the jar you have received and be ready to post it on your blog and link it here. If you have not, just wait a few more days for the jar to arrived, especially if your partner is from a different country.

Hi all, it is August 6th, I hope your jar is filled with Pretty Things and ready to go out to the mailman. I know mine is!

Pretty Things Jar Swap (part 2)

Hi all, it is getting closer to our Pretty Things Jar Swap Party!

By now, you should have gotten an email from me with the mailing info of your swap partner and their blog address, do visit each other's blog to say hello!

Many of you is concern about sending a glass jar in the mail, you could do plastic jar, or even send the pretty things in a padded envelope, it really doesn't matter, as I said before, the fun part is the surprises in the mail, so if the glass jar is not workable for you, a box, an envelope is fine! (**You might want to let your partner know if you are not sending the Pretty Things in a jar, so there is no oopsy moment)

Ok, what you waiting for, start filling up your jar (box, envelope) with pretty things that you think your partner would like, and get it ready to send out between August 6th - 21st
